AI Resume Builder is designed with privacy as a first principle. We do not collect, store, transmit, or process any personal information on our servers.

What we do NOT do

  • We do not run any backend servers that receive your resume data.
  • We do not set any tracking cookies or use analytics SDKs.
  • We do not share any data with third parties.
  • We do not require account creation or login.

What stays on your device

  • All resume data is stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage. Clearing your browser data removes it permanently.
  • AI features optionally use an API key you provide. That key is stored only in localStorage and is sent directly from your browser to the LLM provider you chose — never through our servers.
  • PDF export uses the browser's built-in print dialog — no data leaves your device.

Third-party LLM providers

If you choose to use AI features and enter an API key, your resume text and job description are sent directly to the provider you select (e.g., OpenAI, Google, Anthropic). Their respective privacy policies apply to that data. We have no visibility into those requests.

By using AI Resume Builder you agree to these terms. The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

  • You are solely responsible for the content of your resumes.
  • You may not use the service for unlawful purposes or to generate misleading professional credentials.
  • AI-generated suggestions are not guaranteed to be accurate. Always review content before submitting to employers.
  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time without notice.

These terms are governed by applicable law. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
